Homeless Bags

I currently live in Houston, Texas where there are approx. 5,351 homeless individuals on any given night. (HUD 2014) I work at the downtown library where I see about 100 of them every day. I don't know everything about them or why they are on the streets, but I do know their lives are not comfortable.

This is how I help. Join me.

Make a Homeless Bag. Fill it with helpful info, non-perishable foods, sanitation supplies, notes of support, water, etc. Then give it away. Its that easy. I've included a note template and a Homeless Resources sheet for those in Houston below. Feel free to share. And if you'd like to be a part but don't have the time to put all together-I will gladly take your money, turn it into one of these bags, and then give it away for you. Just email me. jess.stanley1524@gmail.com
